We at Hole-In-One U.S.A. want to share our tournament experience with you!
Are you running a fund-raising golf tournament for your charity or foundation? Not sure where to start? We can help you. Our sales experts have lots of ideas and suggestions such as: sell sponsor signs for each hole, have a putting contest for a prize, offer a hole-in-one cash prize that is split between to the shotmaker and your charity or foundation! (Truely a win-win situation) We will donate Golfmsith giftcards to your tee prize package when you contract for hole-in-one coverage. Our hole-in-one coverage will also include additional auxiliary prizes such as clubs, giftcards, pro shop merchandise and other options on the remaining par-3s and tee signs for your sponsor(s) for all prize holes. Make sure all parties (sponsor, golf course, tournament director) have a copy of your hole-in-one contract so there are no hiccups with coverage. Be aware that mulligans do not count in hole-in-one coverage. Make that clear if you sell mulligans, not only to the players but also your representatives selling mulligans and monitoring the prize holes. Here are some more ideas to help you get players and sell sponsorship!
Did you know that your regional or state golf association sends an email ghin update to its members at least twice a month during the golf season? They usually include golf news and information. Check with them to see if they can list your tournament and contact information in the update. It goes out to all of their golfing members. Some associations charge for this but some do it for free!
You can include a QR code on your sponsor sign at a tournament and drive players to your website or a landing page with special offers! More and more people are downloading free QR code scanners to their smart phones. How many times have you waited at a tee box to hit? What a perfect opportunity to grab their attention!
Do you get alot of requests to sponsor holes? Have you ever thought of sponsoring a hole-in-one prize? Depending on the tournament you can sponsor a hole-in-one prize for the same amount or a few dollars more and get your name/logo/QR code on 4 sponsor signs at all of the par-3s! Something to think about.
Perhaps you want to do some other type of promotional event with a prize. Our sales staff can give you suggestions and examples of promotions we have covered in the past. Everything from basketball half-time events, football, tennis, guess the number and dice promotions. Even poker!
